ROXSANA DIAZ
ABOUT
MY STORY
Roxsana Diaz is an Afro-Latina contemporary artist, content creator, and visual storyteller known for her bold use of color, emotionally charged characters, dreamlike compositions, and ability to turn personal experience into collectible art.
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Philajersya, Diaz found her first language through art. After moving to the mainland without speaking English, she turned to drawing as a way to communicate, connect, and make sense of the world around her. What began as survival became a lifelong creative language.
Her work explores the tension between joy and pain, softness and strength, fantasy and reality. Through vivid acrylic paintings, expressive pen sketches, original characters, nostalgic references, and emotionally layered storytelling, Diaz creates a universe where healing feels playful, memory feels alive, and every piece carries a story.
Known online as @toyboxdollz, Diaz has built a powerful digital presence that connects fine art with viral culture. For Diaz, art is more than decoration. It is communication, healing, identity, and legacy.
